    Welcome...

Happy New Year to you. I hope that your holiday season was fun and relaxing.

The brisk winds and chill of winter are with us and the warm air of summer is just a memory. The once lush green trees that encircle the secret beach have shed their leaves and now give it up to anyone who can see. Anyone who is looking to see, that is.

A few nights ago, I went for a walk on the beach for a little R&R. The sound of the waves was hypnotic, relaxing, and thought- provoking. The sun had already set about a half hour ago. A partial moon sat over the lake, illuminating the crest of every wave, and highlighting the silhouettes of bare trees. Wisps of clouds were blowing in from the northwest and drifting towards the moon but the sky was clear straight above. I could see every star perfectly, and even noticed a satellite that looked like a star, but it was floating in a straight line. Meanwhile all the others stood still. It seemed that, well, if time didn't stand still, it slowed down a little.

Clouds were rolling past the moon, lit up like a glowing wave across the sky....

My first CD release in 2002 will feature, along with plenty of music, some environmental sounds of the beach. Arranged in one 19-minute track is a complete journey along the secret beach, into the dark woods surrounding the beach, and then ending up back on the beach and into the water for a swim. All of these sounds were recorded on location in superb digital stereo. I assure you that you will be in a different state of mind after an earnest listen.

At this time, most of my studio remixing and archiving project is complete. There is now about 10 CDs worth of material to pull from. These are mainly instrumental pieces featuring guitars. But some of these songs were made for vocals as well. For a proper CD release, I want to record three new songs featuring my voice and lyrics also.
